Immediate Opportunity: HUD & Recertification Specialist

We’re seeking an experienced Affordable Housing professional with strong knowledge of HUD guidelines and Recertification processes. If you have a background in Tax Credit, LIHTC, and/or Bond Compliance, this is your chance to take the next step in your multifamily career.

Position Highlights:

• Pay: $20–$21/hr
• Location: Brooklyn, NY
• HUD and Recertification experience REQUIRED
• Full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity
• Weekly pay + potential benefits (sick leave, paid time off, and more, depending on local law)

Responsibilities:

• Manage resident recertifications and maintain compliance with HUD guidelines
• Assist Property Manager in monitoring compliance with financing programs (LIHTC, Tax Credit, etc.)
• Handle leasing tasks: show units, process applications, and complete lease paperwork
• Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents
• Support with community outreach, marketing, and resident retention initiatives
• Perform general administrative duties as needed

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience in HUD compliance and recertification required
• LIHTC / Tax Credit experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Yardi, OneSite, or BlueMoon software is a plus
• Solid knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and strong attention to detail
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
