Direct Hire; starting at $16 p/hr + bonus (Flexibility on hourly rate DOE); OT Eligible

·        Reports To: Building Services Manager

·        FLSA Classification: Hourly / Non-Exempt

·        Discretionary bonuses given annually in September

Position Summary

The Building Services Crew Member position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the appearance of all facilities to be patron-ready under the direction of the Building Services Manager and as part of a Building Services Team.

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Clean all surfaces to standards set by the Building Services department. Tasks include, but are not limited to vacuuming, glass cleaning, dusting, carpet extraction, damp mopping, restroom cleaning, etc.
  • Set up and strike furniture for facility events.
  • Maintain interior areas and exterior surfaces in all seasons.
  • Complete all assigned tasks within a reasonable time frame as determined by the Building Services Manager.
  • Follow the standard operating procedures of the Building Services Department and as well as policies and procedures.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and processes and report any unsafe working conditions immediately to a member of management.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one (1) year of housekeeping/custodial experience in a facility environment.
  • Working knowledge of various cleaning equipment and materials.
  • Works well independently and in a group setting, a true team player.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays as assigned.
