Senior Full Stack Engineer – Angular / Java / Stencil.js

Location: On-site in Woodlawn, MD (5 days/week)

Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Design System team, supporting the development of modern web applications and reusable components. This is a highly collaborative role focused on enabling a seamless user experience through scalable frontend and backend solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance modern applications using Angular, Java, and Spring Boot
• Build reusable web components using Stencil.js
• Participate in team stand-ups, code reviews, and agile ceremonies
• Resolve defects and support tickets to ensure application performance and user satisfaction
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain and evolve our design system

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 10+ years of software development experience
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular 9+, TypeScript, REST APIs
• 3+ years of experience with Stencil.js

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PostgreSQL or Oracle, Hibernate, and JPA
• Deep knowledge of CSS/SCSS and responsive design
• Familiarity with modern development tools: Git, Jenkins, Jira, Splunk, AWS, etc.
• Prior experience developing within a design system using Storybook
• Strong communication and mentorship skills
