Roving Maintenance Technician

Location: DFW (North Texas & Oklahoma Travel Required)

Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire

Salary: Up to $62,000 annually

**CANDIADTE WILL USE THEIR OWN VEHICLE FOR THE 1ST YEAR, MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT AVAILABLE**

**CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL UP TO 4 HOURS OUTSIDE OF DALLAS**

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on, self-motivated Building Maintenance Technician to support a portfolio of commercial properties across North Texas. This is a regional (roving) role ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, traveling between sites, and handling a wide range of maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Property Inspections

• Conduct monthly inspections of interior and exterior areas
• Document findings using company software (photos required)

General Maintenance (Self-Performed)

• Light bulb and ballast replacement
• Grounds maintenance and exterior cleaning
• Sheetrock repair (tape, float, texture)
• Ceiling tile replacement
• Pressure washing
• Light carpentry and painting

Vendor & Project Coordination

• Supervise and coordinate third-party vendors (janitorial, security, landscaping, HVAC)
• Schedule and escort inspectors (lenders, appraisers, etc.)
• Obtain vendor bids and ensure cost-effective project execution

Tenant & Work Order Management

• Manage tenant service requests via HappyFox software from start to completion
• Maintain accurate tenant contact records
• Communicate effectively with company leadership (Principals and Partners)

Additional Duties

• Support fire and life safety procedures
• Assist with tenant move-ins and move-outs

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Driver’s License (required)
• Willingness to travel throughout North Texas and Oklahoma using personal vehicle
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in:
  • Property maintenance
  • Property management
  • Or a related field
• Strong hands-on skills across multiple trades
