BG Staffing is currently seeking a dependable and motivated Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team supporting residential communities in the Indianapolis area. Position Summary

The Apartment Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring that apartment homes are properly maintained and move-in ready. In this role, you will be responsible for completing service requests, assisting with unit turnovers, and performing general maintenance and punch work to maintain property standards.

Compensation

• Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
• Employment Type: Potential temp-to-perm (TTP) opportunity for candidates who demonstrate strong performance and fit well with the team

Key Responsibilities

• Complete daily work orders promptly and efficiently
• Perform punch work and assist with make-ready units to prepare apartments for new residents
• Conduct general maintenance tasks, including basic repairs and upkeep
• Ensure all units meet quality and cleanliness standards prior to move-in
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding task progress and maintenance needs

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation to report to job sites consistently
• Previous experience in apartment maintenance, make-readies, or general labor is preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned responsibilities
• Strong attention to detail, especially when preparing units for new residents
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented mindset

• Plain shirt or work-appropriate attire required
• No ripped jeans or excessively worn clothing
• Professional appearance must be maintained at all times while on-site
