Apartment Groundskeeper / Porter

Location: Largo, FL 33771

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

BG Staffing is actively seeking a reliable and hardworking Apartment Groundskeeper / Porter for a multifamily community in Largo, Florida. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining clean and attractive environments, and is comfortable with physically active work throughout the day.

Position Overview

As a Groundskeeper / Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and curb appeal of the community. This role is heavily focused on pressure washing, so candidates must be comfortable performing this task for extended periods. In addition, you will assist with general groundskeeping and cleaning duties to ensure the property remains well-kept and welcoming to residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pressure washing of sidewalks, breezeways, buildings, and other exterior surfaces (primary duty)
• Complete trash pick-up and maintain cleanliness of common areas
• Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned
• Support general grounds maintenance, including upkeep of outdoor spaces
• Ensure the community’s appearance meets company standards at all times
• Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues promptly
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in groundskeeping, porter, or similar role preferred
• Ability to perform physically demanding work and remain active throughout the shift
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Experience with or willingness to learn pressure washing equipment
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Dependable with consistent attendance
