MS SQL Developer – Annapolis, MD (Onsite)

Long-Term Contract

We are seeking an experienced MS SQL Developer to join our team onsite in Annapolis, MD. This role requires a highly skilled developer with deep expertise in SQL development, complex stored procedures, and reporting tools like SSRS and Power BI. You'll play a key role in backend custom application development and work closely with ERP systems, wireframes, and database structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop complex stored procedures and functions from scratch based on ERP schemas and wireframes.
• Build and maintain reports using SSRS.
• Develop interactive dashboards and data models with Power BI.
• Collaborate in design sessions with cross-functional team members.
• Validate and troubleshoot issues within relational databases.
• Interpret and work from wireframes and ERP systems to understand table structures and business logic.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as an MS SQL Developer (preferably using SQL Server 2008 or newer).
• Strong expertise in relational database design and backend development.
• Proven ability to write complex stored procedures and backend logic.
• Solid experience with SSRS reporting (SSIS experience is a plus but not required).
• Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running with minimal guidance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle is a plus.

Work Environment:

• Onsite position based in Annapolis, MD (5 days a week).
• Long-term contract role with opportunity to contribute to high-impact custom application projects.
