Maintenance Technician (Mid-Level)

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Kansas City, MO. This mid-level role is ideal for someone with hands-on property maintenance experience who can handle unit turnovers and general repairs with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

Complete unit turnovers to ensure apartments are move-in ready.

Perform maintenance repairs including:

• Plumbing (required) – faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, drains, etc.
• Painting (required) – touch-ups and full unit repaints.
• Electrical (basic) – outlets, switches, light fixtures, and troubleshooting.

Appliances & HVAC – basic repairs; HVAC Certification a plus.

Conduct preventive maintenance and respond to work orders quickly and efficiently.

Assist with seasonal property needs such as snow removal and landscaping.

Collaborate with property management and vendors to ensure timely project completion.

Maintain a safe work environment and follow all building codes and company policies.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of property maintenance experience (multifamily or similar environment preferred).
• Plumbing and painting experience required.
• Basic electrical knowledge required.
• HVAC Certification a plus.
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Valid driver’s license required.
