What You Will Do:

  • Serve as a ServiceNow SME with strong regulatory compliance expertise, shaping strategies and delivering end-to-end GRC solutions on the ServiceNow platform
  • Convert complex risk, control, and compliance requirements into unified ServiceNow GRC or related platform capabilities
  • Lead the design and deployment of GRC modules—Risk Management, Policy & Compliance, and Audit Management
  • Configure, customize, and extend ServiceNow components to streamline compliance workflows, integrations, and reporting
  • Offer expert guidance on ServiceNow GRC best practices and regulatory compliance scenarios
  • Build monitoring, analytics, and reporting functions to track compliance within ServiceNow
  • Partner with legal, compliance, and risk teams to interpret and support regulatory obligations

Qualifications Needed:

  • US Citizenship
  • Active secret clearance or the ability to obtain a secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Finance, or similar discipline
  • Background working with compliance management tools and regulatory reporting systems
  • At least SEVEN (7) years of overall experience, including FIVE (5) years on ServiceNow and TWO (2) focused on GRC
  • Minimum THREE (3) years in regulatory compliance
  • ServiceNow CSA and GRC Implementation Specialist certifications
  • Proven experience advising clients on compliance using ServiceNow GRC or comparable solutions
  • Understanding of key compliance standards and frameworks (NIST, NERC, SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS)

Nice To Have:

  • Ability to navigate complex challenges combining ServiceNow technical capabilities with regulatory demands
  • Familiarity with federal compliance frameworks (FISMA, FedRAMP, SOX, NIST, SOC) and NERC CIP standards for utilities
  • Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CIA, or similar
  • Industry-specific or advanced compliance credentials
  • Experience with federal, state, or local regulatory environments
  • Background in utilities, energy, or critical infrastructure sectors
  • Work experience with government agencies or public-sector consulting
