Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Overview

Join our Technology Engineering team as we transform how we manage production applications and infrastructure across hybrid environments (AWS and on-prem). We're seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to design tools, implement automation, and enhance system observability and resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and automate scalable, reliable infrastructure and applications.
• Build and maintain robust monitoring, alerting, and observability systems (e.g., SLIs, SLOs, error budgets).
• Automate operational tasks to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with development teams to embed SRE best practices and promote a culture of shared reliability ownership.
• Troubleshoot complex issues alongside operations, support, and engineering teams.
• Guide continuous improvement efforts and help establish new technical standards.
• Participate in on-call rotations and mentor peers on infrastructure automation and observability.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in AWS, with strong experience in monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic).
• Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash, Groovy, etc.) and container technologies (Docker, ECS, Fargate).
• Skilled in automation tools like Terraform and Ansible, and GitOps workflows.
• Strong foundation in Unix/Linux systems, networking, and performance monitoring.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to support off-hours implementations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years in systems design, integration, or infrastructure roles.
• 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience.
• AWS or Kubernetes certifications.
