BG Staffing is seeking a reliable, experienced Maintenance Technician to join a well-maintained 219-unit apartment community in Greenwood, IN. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up consistently, and is ready to contribute as part of a professional on-site team.

This position will work alongside an established Maintenance Supervisor, providing support in day-to-day property operations while delivering quality service to residents.

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-Call Rotation: Every other weekend
• (Minimal service calls—property has low weekend maintenance volume)
• Pay: $20.00 per hour

What We’re Looking For

We are specifically seeking a candidate who is:

• Experienced in apartment or property maintenance (preferred a few years of hands-on experience)
• Dependable and consistent—attendance and reliability are critical
• Equipped with their own basic maintenance tools
• Comfortable handling general maintenance tasks independently
• Willing and able to participate in on-call rotation every other weekend without issue
• A team player who communicates effectively with the Maintenance Supervisor and property staff

Note: HVAC certification is not required, but general maintenance knowledge is expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete routine maintenance work orders
• Assist with unit turns and property upkeep
• Troubleshoot and repair common maintenance issues (plumbing, electrical, etc.)
• Support overall property appearance and safety
• Provide prompt and professional service to residents

Property Overview

• 219-unit community – smaller, manageable property size
• Established maintenance leadership already on-site
• Organized workflow with manageable service demand
